Mission Statement
The mission of The Thirteen is the pursuit of excellence in choral repertoire and performance, specifically in music of the Renaissance and Baroque. The Thirteen shares this commitment and their art through concerts, recordings, outreach and education to South Jersey and the world.
Vision
The Thirteen strives to become a regional professional choral ensemble with an international reputation. As Artists in Residence at the Haddonfield Center and School for the Performing Arts, we strive to build a loyal audience in the South Jersey and Philadelphia areas, while recording, touring and building an international reputation.
The Thirteen is committed to a non-hierarchal music making process. Although there are innumerable audience members, twelve singers and one conductor, these are roles that each person takes on, and everyone plays a part in the artistic activities of The Thirteen.
